Leonardo AI – Artist Highlight

I’m excited to share that I’ve been selected for an Artist Highlight feature for my generative AI artwork on a new comic book concept called ‘Control Freak’, created using the Generative AI tool Leonardo.

Generative Ai is to me most significant advancement in creative tech since photoshop first launched. I can go from zero to full conceptual images and in a fraction of the time and form the inspiration for original traditional art, it’s a monumental leap forward for digital artists tools!

The idea first sparked after a trip to Turkey, where a vivid dream planted the seed for the story. Since then, I’ve been chipping away at it—exploring tone, style, and worldbuilding through a mix of hand-drawn elements and AI-generated visuals. Control Freak plays with themes of power, manipulation, and fractured identity, all set within a surreal, near-future landscape.

Using Leonardo has been a huge part of shaping the visual direction—allowing me to prototype panels, test moodboards, and bring characters to life with a speed and fluidity that pushes beyond traditional concept workflows.

This is just the beginning, but the recognition from the Leonardo team has given me a real boost to keep developing the world and story. Watch this space.
